Frequently Asked Questions
Exhibitions
How are artists chosen to show their work at the gallery?
There are several ways artists can exhibit their work at the Mann Art Gallery, Prince Albert's professional public art gallery.

-
Annual Winter Festival: Any member who purchases an annual Mann Art Gallery membership can enter 1 artwork in the Annual Winter Festival Art Show & Sale. Artwork must meet eligibility requirements and comply with gallery exhibition standards. Information about the Winter Festival is released each year in November, and the submission and drop-off dates are in late January. No exhibition experience is required.
-
Submit an Exhibition Proposal: The Mann Art Gallery accepts exhibition submissions on a continuing basis. The submission requirements can be found here. Our mandate is to show work by artists with a connection to north-central Saskatchewan or whose content will connect with our regional community. As a professional public gallery that pays CARFAC SK exhibition royalties and fees, we typically show artists with an exhibition history and a distinct body of work or series.
Volunteer Opportunities
We are always looking for volunteers to assist us in a variety of ways! Setting up for events and receptions, bar-tending at special events and fundraisers, and assisting with drop-in art programs. Contact reception@mannartgallery.ca to let us know, or call 306-763-7080. Volunteering for us is a great way to build up experience for your resume.
Jobs & Careers
We apply for grants to hire summer students each year as Assistant Educators and Collections Assistants. If these grants are approved, summer student jobs are posted late April - early May. Occasionally academic-year Internships will be posted as grant funds allow. See News page for job opportunities
